Since its first edition in 1951, Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice has been used by engineers and industrial hygienists to design and evaluate industrial ventilation systems. The 27th edition of this Manual continues this tradition. Renamed Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Design (the Design Manual), this Manual addresses design aspects of an industrial ventilation system and complements Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Operation and Maintenance (the OM Manual). 

New features for the 27th Edition include: Redrawn figures and VS prints Revised Chapter 6 – Design Issues – Hoods Revised Chapter 8 – Air Cleaning Devices New sections in Chapter 13 – Specific Operations (Section 13.27 – Hot Process Ventilation; Section 13.67 – Ventilation Requirements for Engineered Nanomaterials)
